McCall's 6591; ©1962; Instant Apron. Apron with fitted bodice and three piece gathered skirt, in seven versions. Top of bodice front is gathered at sides and bound with bias self fabric, Bodice back and top of front and waistband are faced with self fabric. Shoulder straps cross at back and button to bodice. Longer skirt has deep hem which is folded back on outside and buttoned or stitched in place forming "cobbler" pockets. Shorter skirt, when not made of border print, may have one or three patch pockets on front, or two potholders may be buttoned to front.
