Pattern Description

Description from the envelope: Six-gore flare skirt with back and front inserts under box pleats. Six-gore flare skirt with front bands extending to form belt carriers. Pleats stitched part way; outside stitching on other skirts. Each has left side zipper placket and is proportioned to fit the tall 5’8” figure, the medium 5’6” figure and the shorter 5’3” figure.
Date: 1961
Suggested fabrics: lightweight wools, synthetic suitings, cotton suitings, worsted, tweed, flannel. Not suitable for diagonal prints or diagonal weaves.
Additional notions required: thread, optional ribbon seam binding, 7” or 9” skirt placket zipper, 2 hooks and eyes, 1 snap, purchased belt for view C.
The pattern has 9 pieces and 1 instruction sheet.
