McCall's 1687; ©1952; Toddler's Smocked Dress. Smocking and small clothes just naturally "belong." Here's a dainty dress with puff sleeves and full skirt, bow tied in the back. Just the front panel of the square-necked, high-waisted bodice is smocked in two-step wave rows, so easy to do. French-knot rosebuds with lazy daisy leaves frame the smocking. Effective worked in six-strand cotton. Sizes 1, 2, 3.
