Marian Martin 9277; ca. 1940s; This versatile two-piece set can be used to make a range of suits from a formal business jacket an dskirt to a play set with midriff sports bra top and shorts. Top has sweetheart neckline and can be completed as a jacket with long inset sleeves, or short sleeves. Sport top ends just below bustline and is sleeveless. Skirt has button front closure down full length. Shorts are made to look as a short skirt with waistband, flared pleated legs and top-stich detail on pleat folds at hip area.
