Sue Burnett and Barbara Bell Mail Order 1785; ca. 1948. Misses' Dress Designed to Catch the Eye. The dress with the scallop-edged dropped shoulder sleeves. Tucks on the shoulders give the soft fullness that is needed. The unusual shape of the sweetheart neckline is definitely different, fastened with a soft bow. The fitted yoke at the hipline is slenderizing and figure-flattering. The skirt flares from the yokes. Short set-in sleeves are also given in this pattern.
