Laura Wheeler 649; ca. 1950s; Embroidered Linens. These motifs are to be embroidered in the simplest of embroidery stitches. Use the for decorating a bedspread, pillow, scarf, cloth and napkins. Use linen, chambray, muslin, plain or tissue gingham, pongee, rayon or silk taffeta or a material that is similar to any of these for a bedspread, and linen or a similar cotton material for other articles. Use six strand cotton, rayon floss or rope silk using colors suggested under Color Suggestions.
