Decorative stitches, embroidery details, ribbon, lace, etc. may be added at the artist's discretion. A more sculptured look can be achieved by using a trapunto technique on dominant design features. Machine or hand quilting finished the piece adding a sculptured dimensional look of its own using a great variety of batting materials available.
