Hollywood 742 A

Hollywood 742; ca. 1941; Misses' Evening Dress and Slip. The gathered skirt joins the fitted bodice at a shaped line, and the bodice is slashed and gathered for bust fullness. Very short puff sleeves are set in when yoke is used or held up with elastic heading when yoke is omitted. The slip has a four-piece gathered skirt joined to a fitted camisole-top bodice.

Fabric Suggestions— Silk crepe, taffeta, faille, net, organdy, novelty cotton, dotted swiss, seersucker, eyelet batiste, cotton voile, rayons.

Sizes: Misses’ 10-18; 29-36 bust.
