Hollywood 409; ca. 1940; One-Piece Dress. One-piece dress in either of two lengths, for evening or daytime wear. Deep shaped stomacher joins the gathered skirt to the blouse in front – in back they are joined under the tied belt. The yoke is omitted for evening wear, and elastic drawn casing used at shoulders. Short sleeves on both versions.
