Hollywood 1017; ca. 1932; ONE-PIECE PEPLUM FROCK. One-piece frock with detachable peplum. Jabot may button over front closing of blouse. Shaped collar and ribbon tie finish neckline. Skirt is seamed at center front and back and joins blouse under belt. May have long bishop sleeves or short sleeves with turn-back cuffs. Peplum joins the buttoned belt. Fabrics – Silk crêpe, faille, wool crêpe, sheer wool, novelty crêpe, shantung, linen, gingham, novelty cotton. Featuring Carole Lombard of Paramount.
