Hollywood 1005; ca. 1932; Afternoon or Dinner Frock. Frock may be in floor length or shorter. Six-gored skirt joins blouse at neckline under a wide belt. For daytime the neck is high with a shaped turn over collar. For more formal wear, the front is cut out in a deep square and the back has a triangular opening below a buttoned neck band. Very full bishop sleeves with soft pleats at armhole. Fabrics – Velvet, satin, flat crêpe, triple sheer, novelty crêpe. Long length frock also in cotton lace.
Can be used for bridal dress (see below image).
