Hi!

Thank you so much for answering my questions! I will try it all the next time I add a pattern, I think it will be a lot easier with that information. I feel like I'm learning to walk... :-)

Forums: Index > Help desk > Move pictures to the top, how?

Hi!

I've uploaded two patterns, and finally managed to insert images.

Now, I can't get the page to look the right way (someone helped me with the first one, so it looks ok now).

When I make a new page and upload an image it doesn't show, even if I wait for an hour or so. I only get a little text saying there's an image. I've therefor added pictures when I later edit the page. They show up ok, but I can't move them to the top of the page, so they sit next to the text instead, not nice.

Could someone who knows how to work this page please tell me how to move them to where they should be? I seem to be missing something here...

Thank you!

Hello,

The trick is in the text with the picture (make certain your cursor is at the very top of the edit page when inserting the picture) - if you see the word "thumb" in there, delete it and replace it with the pixel width you would like, e.g. 450px.

Hit return twice (once will get the text to be stuck next to the image, and it will wrap), then add the description. Hope this helps.

In order to avoid a lot of editing after inserting, I upload my images at the size I want to appear on the page (450 to 500 pixels width for most works well). That way, all you have to select when inserting your image is "full size".

Hope this helps.
