Vintage Sewing Patterns

Would it be a good idea to add pages to this wiki that show scans of vintage Vogue Pattern Books (the magazines that show the latest Vogue patterns)?

The reason I ask is that I have a very good collection of Vogue Pattern Books from the 1930's to the present, that I use for inspiration when sewing my own clothes. Lately I decided to scan the magazines to avoid the wear and tear I inflict when browsing them. So then I thought I can upload the scans to this wiki.

My idea is to create a wiki page for each pattern book and to scan the pattern book from cover to cover. So, for example I would create a page for 1958 October-November Vogue Pattern Book and it would contain 78 images, one for each page in the magazine including the front and back covers. I have not created a wiki page yet, but if possible I would make links to go from the patterns featured in the magazine scans to the individual pattern pages elsewhere in the wiki.

If you all think this is a good idea, let me know and I'll get started. In particular, does anyone know if this type of comprehensive scanning would infringe on the copyright of the magazine publisher? I will be scanning the mags. myself, so there is no issue with the copyright of the images themselves.
