DSCN4047 (2)

Fleetway 24; ca. late 1940s; This delightful two-way pattern can be made into a charming frock for afternoons or special occasions,or a dainty summer dress with pretty cape sleeves. It is cut on the lines of a coat, with a becoming crossover bodice that tops the simple skirt, which falls in a soft cascade at one side. Make the green frock in a moss crepe, marocain or fine woollen, and the cape-sleeved model in a flowered or plain silk, rayon or crepe.
