Woman's Weekly B959; ca. 1980s; Wedding Gown and Bridesmaid/Flowergirl Dress, based on Princess Diana's wedding gown and the dresses of her bridesmaids.
Wedding gown with fitted basque bodice, V-neckline with ruffles, elbow-length puff sleeves finished with decorative bows. Floor length wide skirt gathered at the waist, with ruffle and ruffle trim along the hem, also trimmed with decorative bows. Bridesmaid/flowergirl dress has similar shape but is ankle length, with one ruffle along the hem, puff sleeves without extra trimming and contrasting color sash belt that ties in a bow at the back.
