Simplicity 1656; ©1946; Misses' Play Suit and Skirt: This one-piece play suit has a low meck, gathered front and back and is finished with binding. The back is fastened with a loop and button. A wrap-around sash circles the waist and may be tied with a bow. Leg edges may be fitted with elastic for a bloomer effect. Armhole and bloomer leg may be trimmed with ruffing. The separate dirndl skirt is cut in two sections. A pocket may be used.
