Hollywood 1182; ca. 1936; Evening Frock. Evening Frock with or without tiny flared peplum. Six gored flared skirt joins bodice under belt. Blouse buttons down front below Peter Pan collar. Has short puff sleeves. Applied facing at lower edge of skirt is optional.

Featured in Hollywood Pattern Book, Autumn Issue, 1936, stating: "Inspired by … Hollywood rather than Paris… specifically by two new costume pictures. Hepburn plays “Mary of Scotland” with the most delicate melancholy, and in the most enchanting costumes by Walter Plunkett. Notice the influence of these costumes in Hollywood Pattern 1182, with tiny waist, buttoned blouse, graceful skirt".
