Simplicity 3213; ©1950; Child's Sundress, Bolero, Bonnet and Panties. The fitted, sun-back is shaped at the upper edge in front. Straps which tie at the shoulder may be made of either self fabric or ribbon. Tie ends coming from the side seams form a bow in back. The brief rounded bolero is completely faced. A ribbon, slipped through a casing at the back, is used to adjust the bonnet in back, and ribbon ties fasten in a bow under the chin. Scallops trim the bonnet brim, bolero neck and sleeves, and the lower edge of the dirndl skirt. The panties are fitted with elastic.
