Vogue American Designer 1870; ca. 1979; Don Sayres - Misses' Jacket, Skirt, and Blouse. Semi-fitted, lined jacket, above hip length, has front buttoned closing, notched collar, side panels, buttonhole pockets, full length two piece sleeves with mock vent and button trim, shoulder pads and topstitch trim. Loose-fitting blouse has round neckline with round collar, front buttoned band closing and full-length sleeves gathered at cap and into buttoned cuffs. With or without self ruffle trim on collar, cuffs and band. Bias, slightly flared skirt, 10cm below mid-knee, has buttoned waistband with self belt carriers, side zipper closing and pockets in side seams. Topstitch trim. Purchased handkerchiefs, belts and ribbon bows.
