McCall 1164; ©1944; Toddler's Smocked Dress and Bonnet. Smock a dress-and-bonnet set for your toddler daughter. It's good style for wash materials because smocking is every bit tubbable. Below the yoke are one row of cable smocking and three rows of wave, forming diamonds. There's a beginner smocking lesson in the pattern to tell you how to do it. Add the flower sprays for an extra touch. Six-strand cotton is good for both the embroidery and the smocking.
