0231 ENVELOPE web

Vogue 231; ca. 1933; Ensemble consists of a blouse, skirt and a bolero with a cape attached. Blouse is slashed and gathered at the front below simulated knot of the draped collar. Blouse back is seamed and darted above waistline. Dart tucks at back of neck. Peplum is open at center front the width of the skirt panel. Long leg-o-mutton sleeves are darted at top, or blouse may be made sleeveless. Separate flared skirt has narrow front panel and is seamed at sides and center back. Unlined sleeveless bolero is buttoned at center front. Cape is attached to bolero at neckline.
