Jacket-Coat April 1962 first page

Femmes d'Aujourd'hui 6801; from Magazine No. 886, April 1962; Coat. Loose fitted coat (or jacket) with stand up collar and pockets. The front bust darts start at the shoulder. The pockets are at the side seams. The back is one piece with the sleeves, which fold to the front. The sleeves 3/4 length hang on bias. The length of the coat can be adjusted to 3/4 or jacket length.

Graded size 6 to 14

Suggested Fabric: Wool, coating fabric or cotton. Medium or heavy weight woven fabrics. Not suitable for knit. Notions: None Interfacing: Sew-in : silk organza, cotton batiste or light weight fabric. Fusible : fusible tricot, woven, medium weight
