NRA stands for National Recovery Administration, it was a New Deal agency in the United States in the 1930s. Different brands (DuBarry, New York, Simplicity) featured the NRA logo on their patterns. Although Pictorial Review, Butterick and McCall patterns don't feature this logo, it was on the cover of some Pictorial Pattern Book (ref.), Butterick Fashion News (ref.) and of McCall Style News of the 1930s.
