Lotte is an American fashion designer. She worked for Drewyn, Ltd. and for Gaudiosi Bros., Inc.

LOTTE of Gaudiosi Bros., Inc., was famed, not long ago, for fashions that carried a strong scent of the exotic East. Her travels in search of inspiration took her to Indonesia, Java, Sumatra, and Bali… later, to Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies. Upon her return to the States, she created a sensation with her designs based upon the costumes and native dress she had seen in her travels. She introduced the slim Oriental line and the standing coolie collar; brought back beautiful fabric designs to be translated to American textiles. Today, however, her fashions are no longer based upon the influence of the Orient. She concentrates on the clothes our women love to wear at home and abroad – dresses, jacket costumes, suits, shirts, and skirts. You’ll find a typical example of Lotte’s skill on page 17, in Advance Pattern 8292 (from Advance Pattern Book, Summer 1957)
