The Australian Home Journal was an Australian magazine featuring sewing patterns. Three patterns were free and included in the magazine, the others were to be ordered.

As per the description on roots.gov: "The Australian Home Journal initially started as a fashion magazine, featuring mostly fashion-related content such as sewing and knitting patterns, fashion tips and updates on the latest trends. It was only when the Australian Consolidated Press became the publisher in 1965 that the emphasis of the magazine shifted from fashion to homemaking in general."
