Butterick 6338; ca. 1952; Bare Arm Dress: Wraparound Midriff. Heads will turn when you appear in this pretty bare-armed dress. Bodice is softly molded with a surplice-look wrap-to-the back midriff, giving the dress new nip-waisted beauty. (A) Day-length. (B) Evening-length.
Featured in Butterick Pattern Book, Fall 1952 and in Butterick Pattern Book, Spring 1953. It was reissued as Butterick 4919 in 2006.
