Butterick 5773; 1950s; ONE-PIECE CASUAL FOR STRIPED OR PLAIN FABRIC. Simple casual with a tiny-collared, button-front bodice and cropped kimono sleeves. The skirt has a double cluster of unpressed pleats down the front. The dress is designed for the season's important striped or plain fabrics.
Notions: About 2 1/8 Yards 1/2 inch seam binding. 4 buttons. Purchased belt and shoulder pads.
Suggested fabrics: Linen, Pique, Chambray, Gingham, Cotton Broadcloth, Dimity, Dotted Swiss, Cotton Voile, Crepe, Shantung, Surah.
