Butterick 5171; 1970s; Child's semi-fitted dress, in two lengths, gathered at front and back into yokes, has peter pan collar or jewel neckline with pregathered lace trim and shaped bias patch pockets. With or without bias hemline ruffle. Above elbow length sleeves, gathered at cap, are elasticized at lower edge forming self ruffle. With or without lace trim. Loose-fitting pinafore, in two lengths, gathered at front and back into yokes, has round neckline, buttoned back closing, shaped bias armhole ruffles and shaped patch pockets.
