Butterick 5142; ca. 1976; Misses' Dress. Loose-fitting dress in two lengths, without side seams, has shaped band collar, front buttoned band closing, attached bias capelet, fitted full length sleeves with buttoned vents, purchased bias tape finish and topstitch trim. With or without bias hem ruffle.

Featured in Butterick advertisement, November 1976.

Ladies prairie-style dress with attached cape and full-length front closure. Dress is cut in halves and seamed down the back--there are no side seams. Street or full-length with hem ruffle. Long sleeves, band collar. No inset belt..
