Butterick 4640; ca. 1948; Misses’ Basque Bodice Dress: Detachable Vestee. The button-front basque bodice of this soft dress has a scalloped neckline which reveals a frothy bib-like vestee which is detachable. Deep armhole sleeves are in three lengths; lace or eyelet trim. The four-gore skirt is gently flared.
