Butterick 4217; ca. 1947; Misses One Piece Dress with Side-Buttoning. This casual has a smart button-closing down the left side. The dress, which falls in free lines from the shoulders, is deftly shaped by the tie-around belt. Note the extended shoulders in cap effect. Pocket in (B). "Quick and Easy" to cut and sew.
Reissued in 2022 as Butterick 6889.
Re-issue is labelled incorrectly as being from the 1950's.
