Butterick 3286; ca. 1973; Young Designer: Betsey Johnson of Alley Cat - Misses' Shirt, Skirt, Pants & Hat. Close-fitting, front-buttoned shirt has convertible collar, front released tucks, and full length sleeves pleated at cap with sleeve pads and gathered into buttoned cuffs. Straight skirt darted into buttoned waistband has center front inverted pleat and back zipper closing. Full, slightly flared pants darted into buttoned waistband have front inverted pleats and back zipper closing. Six section sailor hat has turned up brim. Topstitch and purchased arrowhead applique trim.
