Butterick 2001; ca. 1961; Decorator Pillows. Includes pattern pieces, transfers for Views A and D, and detailed instructions for making four pillow covers to be used over foam forms. Also patterns for optional inside cases to be filled with cotton batting, kopok or synthetic stuffing.

View A: Round Pillow- 14" diameter, 2 1/4" Box. Smocking design is stamped and worked on wrong side of fabric. Finished, it has a lattice design on both front and back which forms draped effect on all sides. Self-covered buttons at centers.

View B: 14" Square Knife Edge. Pillow front fabric is gathered and tied around buttons tufted look. Plain back, self-corded edges with zipper closing in side seam.

View C: Round Pillow- 12" diameter, 2 1/4 box. Front and back of pillow have self-covered buttons at center of sunburst pleats. Self-corded edges are joined to band with simple zipper closing in seam.

View D: 12" Square Knife edge. Quilted design on pillow front is stamped on muslin and stitched from under side through cotton wadding. Self-corded edges with zipper closing in seam
