Bestway D.2,732; ca. 1950s; Designed by Sybil Connolly - Evening Dress and Waist Slip. The circular skirt of this dress is joined to the strapless, fitted bodice which is mounted over a boned foundation. A zip is inserted at left-hand side seam. A pattern is included for a two-piece, flared waist slip, set on to a narrow band. The dress is trimmed with crocheted motifs, instructions for which are given on a separate leaflet included in pattern.
