Bestway C.747; ca. late 1940s or early 1950s; Dress. The full, three-piece skirt is gathered at the front and back of the waist into the deep inlet waist-band. The honeycomb effect of this is gained by the edges of the tucks being back-stitched together. The front and back of the bodice is gathered into the upper edge of the waist-band, while the back is gathered into the rounded yoke which extends over the shoulders. Cape sleeves or long Bishop sleeves.
