Back Porch Press P025; copr 1995; Wacky Patchwork Dress. Designed by Gail Abeloe. Country comfortable dress with plaid flannel sleeves and skirt. New, fast way to sew primitive, Wacky Patchwork. Just wack out strips and sew. Cut plaids, checks and stripes wacky (off-grain). Forget about sewing straight and matching seams, sew wacky! Close machine quilting blends the fabrics together and adds texture. A multi-sized pattern for a loose fitting, pull-over dress. Easy directions for rotary cutting and strip piecing Wacky Patchwork. Dress features include a patchwork front, quilted fabric back with ties, roomy long sleeves, bias binding around neck and button front opening, gathered skirt and side seam pockets. |
