Authentic Pattern 329; ca. 1980s; Ladies' Square Dance Dress. Square dance dress has fitted bodice with square neckline in front and back. Bodice front inset is trimmed with multiple rows of pre-gathered eyelet trim. Elasticized puffed sleeves are of contrasting fabric (eyelet) and are accented with fabric bows. The gathered, gored skirt has a self-ruffle around the lower edge and a contrasting upper ruffle (eyelet) that sweeps up the back in an apron effect.
