Advance 838; ca. early 1930s; GIRLS’ and JUNIORS' BLOUSE. This clever blouse shows a fitted peplum effect. The short puff sleeves present the new broad shoulder silhouette, accented by the lines of the raglan sleeves. The peplum, which may be worn inside or outside a skirt, has a side opening. A boyish collar is pointed over a soft bow tie attached in front.
