Advance 8172; ca. 1956; MISSES’ DRESS. A STAND-AWAY COLLAR. (V1, V2) edges the flattering wide neckline of this new COAT DRESS. The V-opening of the neckline shapes to a surplice, with a low double-breasted closing. Flare skirt has a front overlapping panel with double row of buttons. Three flared gores for back of skirt. Side seam pockets, set-in sleeves. (V3) Collarless neckline.
