Advance 5021; ca. 1948; This apron is the second version of the "Square-Bib Apron" -- and first shows up in the 1952 revision of the USDA Farmers' Bulletin No.1963: Dresses and Aprons for Work in the Home, by Clarice L. Scott. The back in this version was redesigned.
The pattern envelope is marked "Designed by Bureau of Human Nutrition and Home Economics; United States Department of Agriculture, Washington D. C."
