Advance 5019; ca. 1948; This is the second version of the "Tailored Dress" and is first included in the 1952 revision of the USDA Farmers' Bulletin No.1963: Dresses and Aprons for Work in the Home, by Clarice L. Scott.

In this version there are shoulder pieces, whereas the original design had a simple shoulder seam. The original version of this dress was initially called the "Tailored Princess Dress" in the 1944. The same design was renamed the "Tailored Dress" for the 1947 revised edition. The dress was then redesigned for the 1952 revision.

The pattern envelope is marked "Designed by Bureau of Human Nutrition and Home Economics; United States Department of Agriculture, Washington D. C."
