Advance 4674; ca. 1947; This is the second version of the "Kitchen Jacket" -- a version of which is included in all three editions of the USDA Farmers' Bulletin No.1963: Dresses and Aprons for Work in the Home.
This version is only included in the 1952 revised edition (by Clarice L. Scott). The earlier version (included in both the orignal 1944 edition and 1947 revision) had more of a crossed front with two buttons/snaps at the waist.
The pattern envelope is marked "Designed by Bureau of Human Nutrition and Home Economics; United States Department of Agriculture, Washington D. C."
