Featured in Advance Fashions and Fabrics, Spring and Summer 1942 stating "Utility House Dress or Apron. Can be used over a dress or as a dress, either at home or in the factory. A pleated back for action, ruffled shoulders for comfort and buttons down the generously lapped front so it is easy to don. Either Percale or Gingham recommended."
