A1280.jpg

Advance 1280; ca. 1937; Women's and Misses' Cape Ensemble. This two-piece style consists of a well-tailored shirtwaist frock topped by a hip-length cape. The frock may be finished with long, cuff-trimmed sleeves or with the short, band-trimmed style. Note how the bosom front affords interesting fabric effects.
