Advance 104; ca. 1950s; Misses' Dress. A sheath silhouette has a high rising neckline in front and dips to a low V in back. Unmounted sleeves with an underarm gusset and purchased shoulder pads give shoulder width to the dart and seam fitted bodice with an interesting button front treatment. Back skirt interest is created by an attached fan-like panel stitched across at waistline — flowing loosely and gracefully to the hemline — self or purchased novelty belt.

Giovanelli Sciarro, Rome, Original Design from the Celanese International Collection of Couturier Fashions.
