Thanks @Misshelenes -- I can't wait to investigate this next time I'm in Asia. I've been to fabric stores when traveling. Not sure why, but it never occurred to me to look for paper patterns in other countries. Now, I'm fascinated by the idea. Do they have the same type of paper patterns that we are familiar with? If so, are they translated or do they have to read the English instructions only?

I've gotten some Japanese crochet books and those have great patterns that are usually easy to read since they tend to be diagrams.

Thanks @Misshelenes -- when I used a translator app, I didn't notice the bottom part of that page -- looks like this pattern was published by a newspaper. Interesting!

I guess I was wondering if China has popular sewing pattern companies, but I guess if I've never seen another Chinese sewing pattern in my decades of sewing, then that answers my questions ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Know anything about vintage Chinese patterns?

I've been going through my vintage sewing patterns since I need to purge them for a move (is there a support forum here? LOL)

I can came across this one and can't remember where/how I got it. Has anyone seen vintage Chinese sewing patterns? If so, got any info on this one? I'm guessing it's from Hong Kong (due to the pricing on the front), and it's prolly from either late-60's or early-70's.

I don't think that I've seen any other Chinese sewing pattern in my life (vintage or otherwise). So any info on popular Chinese sewing patterns would be great too. I used Google translate on it and only came with something along the lines of "Really modern outfit paper pattern" :)
